Any defender who has had the misfortune of standing in the lane when LeBron James is driving to the hoop would never, ever compare him to a figure skater(註一). At 6'8" and 250 pounds of muscle, James surely looks more like a linebacker(註二) racing to stuff a goal-line(註三) rush, but Miami Heat teammate Chris Bosh sees him in a different light. 

任何一個不幸被LeBron在頭上灌籃的防守者永遠不會把他聯想成一個花式溜冰選手。身高六呎八吋、250磅，LeBron當然看起來更像一位全力阻擋對手達陣的線衛。但是熱火隊友Bosh用不同的眼光看他。

Ira Winderman of the South Florida SunSentinel caught up with Bosh and spoke to him about the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Delightfully, the quirky(註四) center had some eye-opening(註五) comparisons for his Big Three teammates.

Truth be told, he could probably succeed at any athletic endeavor he put his mind to, and seeing James in pairs figure skating twirling around a 100-pound female with ease would be very entertaining.

老實說，James只要努力去做，可以在任何運動都成功。看James穿著溜冰鞋然後在100磅的女搭檔旁邊輕鬆地扭動旋轉，將會是一件妙事。

On Dwyane Wade, Bosh stated: "He's short, so he could do that speed skating." It's not clear why being short would help in that sport. American speed skater Shani Davis has two gold and two silver medals from the last two Olympics Games, and he is 6'2".

至於Wade，Bosh表示因為他矮，所以他可以競速滑冰。不知道為什麼矮有利於參加這個運動。美國競速滑冰選手Shani Davis在前兩次奧運奪得兩面金牌和兩面銀牌，他六呎二吋。

Then again, the 6'11" Bosh considers 6'2" to be short, so I guess he's right on the money(註六). Wade is 6'4". I can easily imagine Wade on skates and encased in a U.S. unitard(註七) to reduce wind resistance. That makes sense.

六呎十一吋的Bosh覺得六呎二吋很矮，所以我猜他也沒錯。Wade六呎四吋，我可以想像Wade穿上溜冰鞋和穿著美國隊的緊身衣以減少風阻。

Asked by Winderman what his favorite event was, Bosh answered: "When they jump off the slope and go long and then they land." I think he means ski jumping(註八), but that's pretty much what happens in a bunch of events.

Now we just sit back and await Bosh's projected Olympic events for the likes of Chris Andersen (ski jumping?), Shane Battier (skeleton(註九)?), Greg Oden (curling(註十)?), Michael Beasley ("Super Cool Beas(註十一)" on the snowboarding halfpipe?) and Erik Spoelstra (ice dancing?).

是一項於跳台上的冬季運動項目。它要求運動員藉助速度和彈跳力沿跳台下滑，使身體躍入空中，運動員會於空中飛行一段時間後，落在地上。裁判會按照距離和姿勢作出評分。
